My name is Scott Little.  I am a third generation contractor, and have been working as a carpenter/ cabinetmaker since my teens. I have always loved the smell of wood, the art of working with it, and the satisfaction of envisioning a project, then making it real.

I have been involved with some facet of construction all my life, and have wide experience ranging from new home construction to apartment building and rehab, to commercial remodeling. Whatever my day job was, I also had a hobby shop that fed my creativity with wood. Sometimes I built custom furniture; other times, entertainment centers, gun cabinets, or gazebos.

My first experience with refacing came in the early 1980's. I helped set up a new shop that included one of the first dedicated custom cabinet door machines in California. I worked in all positions in the refacing industry from that point, from the actual construction of the doors and drawers to installation, lay-out, and field measurement.

Refacing cabinetry allows me to continue providing expert carpentry and cabinetry craftsmanship, while also following "green" principles. Less is hauled to the landfill, more is reused, the cost of refacing is a benefit as compared to tear-out, and we all win.

Thanks for looking around Kitchen Encore's website. You might think, "Hey, maybe that is a better way to go!" I will be happy to schedule a free, no pressure appointment to show you what can be acheived with refacing.
